    Introduction This document provides DLDP configuration examples. The Device Link Detection Protocol (DLDP) was developed by HP to detect the status of fiber links or twisted-pair links. When DLDP detects unidirectional links, it can automatically shut down the faulty port to avoid network problems. Alternatively, a user can manually shut down the faulty port.
