PWRcell Battery modules will be required to be
decommissioned at the battery module end of life stage
or if the PWRcell Battery will be removed from the
premises in accordance with these instructions, the
requirements in NFPA 855, and all applicable code
requirements. The authority having jurisdiction (AHJ)
shall be notified prior to the decommissioning of the
battery.

Decommissioning Plan
The owner of the PWRcell Battery and the qualified
Generac Service Dealer shall prepare a written
decommissioning plan that provides the overview of the
decommissioning process developed specifically for the
battery

the installation site including the transportation and

decommissioning report shall be prepared by the owner

final results of the decommissioning process, any issues
that were identified during the decommissioning process,
and the required measures taken to resolve those issues.
