the SMS centre needs to be
entered. Normally, this address is
automatically read from your SIM
card.
Character encoding: Full support/

Reduced support
- Full support: A message
with single byte character is
normally encoded in Default
alphabet(GSM7). A message
with double-byte character
is automatically encoded in
unicode(UCS2).
- Reduced support: A message
with double byte characters is
encoded in single byte. Please
note that double byte characters
with accents may be converted
into single byte characters
without accents.

Slide duration: Displays the

when writing a message.
Delivery time: Delivers your

message at a specific time.
Priority: You can set the priority of

the selected message.
Validity period: This network

service allows you to set how long
your text messages will be stored at
the message centre.
Delivery reports: You can set either

ON/OFF in these menus.
- Request report: Request reports
to determine whether your
messages have been sent to the
recipients successfully.
- Allow report: When the senders
request delivery reports, you
can decide whether the report is
delivered or not.
