3 SAFETY WARNINGS OVERTAKING When overtaking another craft, you are the "priority craft". 8 BEFORE RIDING JET PUMP CHECK • Before riding, check the cleanliness and condition of the Jet pump (C). Its condition can result in decreased performance of the motor board. IMG0045 Warning (Risk of injury) Under no circumstances insert your fi ngers or other objects into the Jet pump unless you are absolutely sure that the motor board is not switched off and without the possibility of starting!
60 °C (140 °F). An increase in temperature can damage the Jetsurf. Keep in mind that the Jetsurf is not intended or designed as a fl otation device. Do not leave the motorized surfboard unattended or in the water without the motor running for a long time, there is a risk of it sinking.
For a sharp start in the water, it is essential to fi nd a suitable place to start riding. The water from which the Jetsurf will take off must be of suffi cient depth, otherwise there is a risk of damage to the fi ns. The minimum depth is 50 cm. Keep in mind that after accelerating the motor and jumping on the boat, the back of the board can sink by 10-20 cm.
• As soon as the indicator starts to indicate the battery status, it is possible to press the throttle trigger of the control handle to which the motor will respond at this time. • The rider jumps on the Jetsurf the moment the board starts to accelerate. IMG00AE...
If, after a fall, the rider manages to insert the shut-off key into the control handle socket within 5 minutes, the Jetsurf will go into the active phase and the motor will start responding to the throttle trigger depressed by the control handle.
During the very fi rst ride, the rider should master control of the control handle and acceleration. For Jetsurf, this is a key skill. The rider can remain supine or kneeling. Only when he is sure of the throttle control and how to control it can the rider go and try to stand.
9.8. STOPS / FALLS ON JETSURF If the rider wants to stop, he must fi rst reduce the speed of the Jetsurf before the stopping point. As soon as the driver is close enough to the stopping point, he pulls the shut-off key out of the control handle socket.

11 STORAGE 11.1. SHORT-TERM STORAGE For short-term storage, for example between riding days, it is suffi cient to follow the steps described in chapter 10, “After the ride”. After performing these steps, store the motosurf in a dry place. Notice (Material damage) Be sure to remove the battery from the board and charge it to at least 30% (Travel Charging Mode).

DRAINING WATER FROM THE BOARD Water can enter the space of the outer airbox (the space between the outer and inner wall of the board) by air condensation, or in the case of damage to the waterproofi ng of the board.
Warning (Material Damage) Observe the amount of water fl owing out. If there is a large amount of drained water, contact your Jetsurf dealer and do not ride your Jetsurf. The cause may be damage to the board. Warning (Material Damage) Never start riding without the drain plugs screwed in.
