    Motorized surfs were designed and manufactured by Motosurf World Cup and Formula 1 engi-neers to push the limits of motor sports. JetSurf Electric parts and components are manufactured by MSR Engines, based in the Czech Republic. The company specializes in the development of combustion engines and specialized electronics.

    3. SAFETY MATTERS 3.2. DEFINITION Motorized surf is a term in this User Manual, mean a vessel that uses an inboard electric motor, providing power to a water-jet pump as its primary source of propulsion power. It is designed to be operated by a person (“rider” or “operator”) sitting, standing or laying on the vessel.

    Even when others operate the motorized board, the owner is generally responsible for dam- ages or injuries that may occur. Owners must not allow any Third Party to operate the JetSurf without prior instruction in correct use and operational risks. Owners are strongly encouraged to carry sufficient liability and property insurance to provide in anticipation of potential judg- ments in those instances.

    JE_0501 Info The throttle trigger is situated on the handle, at the end of the throttle cable. JetSurf recommends controlling the throttle with your index finger. When the throttle trigger is pressed, you increase the revs, when it is released, you decrease the revs.

    In case the connector is not handled properly, it might be easily damaged and improper handling may cause discharge of internal battery inside the control unit which is necessary for the JetSurf Electric operation. 6.5.3. BATTERY IN ECU ECU (Electronic control unit) contains a small non-rechargeable battery which needs to be replaced every two years.

    Battery Pack is cooled with water flowing round the battery. It is important to check if the cooling system outlet is clean. When riding the JetSurf Electric, check visually the correct operation of the cooling system. Water should be running out of the cooling system outlet continuously.

    8.2. STAND Info Every JetSurf Electric is supplied with a light stand. Use of the JetSurf stand is strongly recommended to keep the motorized surf above the ground, it is intended as an aid for preparation, maintenance and cleaning of the motorized motorized board..

    8. BEFORE THE RIDE Info The side fins have a flat surface on the inside and a convex foil on the outside. The convex or curved side of the fin always points outwards. • Then, lower the rear tab into the rear slot of the plug until the mechanism engages the tab.
