- Page 2 Upon Receipt HVS-2000DVE is a 3D DVE card that can be installed into HVS-2000 switcher main units. An HVS-2000DVE card supports 4 channels of 3D DVE. HVS-2000DVE-EX is a 3D DVE card that can be installed into HVS-2000DVE cards. An HVS-2000DVE-EX card supports 6 channels of 3D DVE in a 3M/E configuration.
- Page 3 1. HVS-2000DVE-EX Card Installation If you have purchased an HVS-2000DVE-EX only, follow the procedure in this section. If you did not purchase an HVS-2000DVE-EX card or purchased an HVS-2000DVE-EX card together with an HVS -2000DVE card, skip this section and proceed to section 2.
- Page 4 (3) Release the five screws on the HVS-2000DVE card and remove the duct. Keep the removed duct in a safe place. (4) Put the released screws back into the HVS-2000DVE card as shown in the following figure. If the screws to fix the duct in (3) are not stud screws, use the supplied stud screws.
- Page 5 (6) Install the HVS-2000DVE-EX card on the HVS-2000DVE card. Install the HVS-2000DVE-EX card over the power supply cable. HVS-2000DVE-EX (7) Apply the supplied W sems screws onto the four corners of the HVS-2000DVE-EX card. Connect the power supply cable to the connector. (8) Go to Sec. 2 “Installing HVS-2000 Cards.

- Page 7 3. Checking the Menu (1) Connect power cords and power ON the switcher system. Open the STATUS menu to verify that the HVS-2000DVE and/or HVS-2000DVE-EX is properly displayed in the menu. ① Open [STATUS > OPTION] menu. ② Check that "INSTALLED" is displayed for HVS-2000DVE.
