  • Page 22 RIDE SAFELY Scan constantly for people, objects and other watercraft. Stay far enough away from others so you can always safely coast to a stop. Avoid aggressive operation, sharp turns, and unexpected acceleration that can cause riders to be thrown off. Avoid riding in very rough waters or practicing extreme manoeuvres like jumping wakes or waves - jumping can cause injuries such as back or spinal injuries (paralysis).
