Product description

3.1

Intended use

The exhaust gas analyzer BEA 060 permits the user-
friendly performance of exhaust gas measurements on
gasoline vehicles.
The range of test specimens includes the entire spec-
trum of gasoline road vehicles on which emission mea-
surements have to be taken during workshop inspec-
tions, both to comply with legal requirements and for
the purposes of localizing and rectifying faults.
The BEA 060 can be used as a stand-alone unit and
with the BEA 550.

If the BEA 060 and the supplied accessories are
operated contrary to the way specified by the manu-
facturer in the operating instructions, the protection
provided by the BEA 060 and the supplied accesso-
ries may be compromised.

Prerequisites

The BEA 060 can only be operated by way of a PC/
Laptop and together with SystemSoft BEA-PC.

PC/Laptop with DVD/CD drive and Win XP, Win 7 or
Win 8 operating system

CPU X86 (Celeron M): At least 1 GHz,
recommended Dualcore 1.66 GHz

Available space on hard disk: At least 1 GB

Two vacant USB interfaces for the Bluetooth USB
adapter and for a USB connecting cable

SystemSoft BEA-PC installed on PC/Laptop.

The BEA 060 is only to be operated in enclosed work-
shop areas. Protect the BEA 060 against moisture.
The BEA 060 consists of a computer PCB with tempera-
ture, speed and exhaust gas measurement. Communica-
tion between the PC/Laptop and the BEA 060 can take
place either by way of a Bluetooth connection or a USB
connection.
