Please note that angle errors (angles that are not right angles) result
in errors in the result. Also ensure that the measured segments are
located in one plane (aligned).
 To achieve the greatest possible measuring accuracy, you can also
determine the distance of the leg (shortest distance) by using the
continuous measurement option. The determined minimum value is
used automatically for the Pythagorean calculation.
 The computed result may also be greater than 60 m.

Double Pythagorean theorem

With this function, the Pythagorean theorem is applied to two
right-angled triangles that have a shared leg.
This allows the length of the base of any arbitrary triangle to be cal-
culated. This function thereby determines the distance between two
arbitrary points and is used in particular for inaccessible measuring
sites.
