Selecting the reference surface

1x
short
 This reference surface must be set manually prior to measuring
since otherwise the result of the measurement will deviate from the
actual value by the length of the Distance Meter and / or the stop
angle.

Top reference surface

The Distance Meter measures from the top surface, such as from an
edge.
Bottom reference surface and angle stop at 90º
The Distance Meter measures from the bottom surface, such as
from a surface area.
Use this reference also when the angle stop [G] is flipped out 90º in
order to use an outside corner as a stop.
