Using Question Marks in Patterns
You can type as many question marks in your
patterns as you like. Each question mark stands
for any single letter.
When you type a question mark in a pattern, no
other question marks or asterisks are assumed.
So, in the above example, you typed question
marks at the beginning and end of the pattern to
indicate that "l??a" could occur anywhere in a
word. If you wanted to build a list of words
beginning or ending with "l??a", you would omit
one of the asterisks.
