    Changing the Settings Using the Setup menu, you can adjust the type size, default state, shutoff time, and screen contrast of this book. The type size sets how large the charac- ters appear on screen. The shutoff time sets how long your Medical Book System stays on if you forget to turn it off.

    The simplest way to find an entry is to type the term at the Entries menu. 1. Press CLEAR 2. If needed, press MENU light the Entries menu. 3. Type the name of the term you want to look up. For example, type bursitis .

    Understanding Entries and Subentries Entries are arranged in the main entry/ subentry format. Most subentries are found under main entries that are single word nouns. For example, subdeltoid bursitis can be found in a submenu un- der bursitis, Babesia ovis under Babe- sia and so on.
