Detergent and fabric softener

Detergent type

Your washer requires low sudsing detergent to prevent oversudsing problems. Low sudsing detergent comes in
powder, liquid or pod form and is labelled 'Front Loading', 'Low Suds', 'High Efficiency' or 'HE'.
Using top loading detergent in your front loader washer may lead to excessive suds formation, which will lengthen
the cycle time as the machine waits for the suds to dissolve.

The Fisher & Paykel WH7560J3 may take longer than expected to complete a cycle, such as 1 hour and 30 minutes for a 30-minute cycle, if there is waxy build-up (scrud) from detergent and fabric softener. This build-up can affect washer performance. Also, using too much or the wrong type of detergent can cause over-foaming, which may extend cycle times. Running a rinse or drum clean cycle may help resolve this.
