The Personal TitleMaker can hold more than 4,000 charac-
ters. You normally divide the characters into logical group-
ings called Pages.
Personal TitleMaker projects normally consists of one or
more pages. (A project can exist without any pages, but
this is not a normal situation.)
Pages normally contain one or more titles. You can also
create blank pages for various purposes, such as when you
want to manually control page changes during playback.
You'll learn more about titles in Chapter 7, Working with
Titles and Lines.
When you play back a project, Personal TitleMaker dis-
plays the pages in that project in succession, one after
another. You can allow playback to run automatically, con-
trol playback from the Personal TitleMaker keyboard, or
control playback using a GPI device. This chapter
describes the first two methods (also see Chapter 12, Play-
ing and Recording Projects, for additional information). For
information about using a GPI device, see Appendix C,
Building and Using a GPI Device.
