Tips about the Battery Pack
[Important Tips] (On-Line Manual)
[Important Tips] provides information on how to maximize use of the battery pack, which is necessary for computing away
from your home or office.
See [Important Tips] using one of the following methods.
• Double-click
• Using the [start] menu.

Click [start] - [All Programs] - [Panasonic].
B
Select [On-Line Manuals] or [Battery], and click [Important Tips].

Checking the Battery Status

Battery Indicator
Not lit
Orange light on /
*1*2
flashing

Green
Red

Blinking red
*1*2
Blinking orange
on the desktop.
Battery pack is not connected or no charging.
Charging in progress.
If [Battery Charging Indicator] in the [Main] menu of the Setup
Utility is set to [Flashing], the indicator will alternately become
lighter and darker (Flashing) (
Fully charged.
The remaining battery power approximately 9% or less.
Battery pack or charging circuit may not be working properly.
Quickly save your data and power off your computer.
Remove the battery pack and disconnect the AC adaptor,
then connect them again. If the problem persists, contact
your technical support office. The battery pack or charging
circuit may be defective.
The battery cannot be charged temporarily due to the follow-
ing reasons:
Its internal temperature is out of the acceptable range.
The power supply is not enough because software appli-
cations or peripheral devices are consuming a large
amount of power.
