Installing the Trailer Tongue to the
Main Frame

Use 2 bolts (7/16 inch), 4 washers, and 2
locknuts to secure the trailer tongue to the main
frame
(Figure
23).
The trailer tongue must be parallel to the ground
when the trailer is attached to the tow vehicle.
Ensure that the tongue is parallel to the ground
before you torque the hardware.

Torque the hardware to 95 N∙m (70 ft-lb).
