4. Connect the power cable to the CD-RW drive.
To do so, insert the circular four-pin male connector into the power input
connector on the rear panel of the CD-RW drive. Refer to Figure 4 on page 8
and Figure 5 on page 9.
5. Insert the male plug of the power cable into an AC power outlet.
6. Turn on the power to the FireWire CD-RW drive using the power switch
on the rear panel.
7. Start the computer.
8. Insert the FireWire interface cable into either FireWire port on the rear
panel of the CD-RW drive.
Refer to Figure 5 on page 9.
9. Connect the other end of the FireWire interface cable to a FireWire port
on your computer.
Note: If you are connecting the cable to a FireWire hub, use a FireWire hub
that features an AC Power adapter.
