TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOM
No Water Discharge
Short filter cycles
Filter start-up pressure
high and water flow low.
Filter start-up pressure
low and water flow high
Leaking from filter tank
joint
CAUSE
Pool water level too low.
Air leaks in inlet fittings to
pump.
Filter Dirty.
Algae present in Pool water.
Filter requires cleaning.
Return line restricted.
Skimmer basket full of leaves
or debris.
Pump strainer lid not sealed
correctly.
Pool water level too low.
Pump impeller blocked.
Blockage in suction line.
Air leak in suction line.
Tank 0-ring dirty.
O-ring incorrectly fitted.
O-ring damaged (pinched).
REMEDY
Fill pool to correct level.
Check and tighten all connections.
Teflon tape fittings.
Clean filter cartridge.
Replace filter cartridge.
DON'T RUN FILTER WITH LIVE
ALGAE IN POOL. Check the
chemical condition of pool water
and refer to Pool Water Chemical
Treatment.
Note: Incorrect chemical treatment
will greatly shorten filter cycle.
Follow filter cleaning procedure in
this manual.
Check for flow at return.
Clear Skimmer Basket of all foreign
matter and debris.
Refer to pump owners manual
for correct procedure for sealing
strainer lid correctly.
Fill pool correct level.
Call an authorised service agent to
service pump.
