Make sure you are able to use this product in a safe and responsible manner before you start using it. Do not use the TAKUMA E-FOIL if you are not in good physical health, if you are not an experienced swimmer, or if you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medications.

Do not leave your TAKUMA E-FOIL on hot surfaces such as asphalt or sand for long periods of time. Never leave your TAKUMA E-FOIL in an overheated place, such as in a hot car. Doing so may cause serious damage.

ESC or battery, or it may cause significant damage. Do not use other ESC than the one sold by TAKUMA. Any damage caused by the use of another ESC will not be covered by warranty. The ESC must be stored so as to remain clean and dry.
Do not leave or use the ESC near fire. Do not alter or disassemble the ESC. Prevent any impact with the ESC and do not drop it. If your ESC is damaged, contact your TAKUMA authorized dealer for further assistance. 1.2.7 Remote control Do not open the waterproof case by yourself.

2.6 The connections To install the ESC in the board: Unscrew the retaining ring. Position the ESC in its housing, placing the connection part in the orifice provided. Fasten the ESC using the 4 CHC M6 30 mm screws Screw the retaining ring back on. After removing the 2 caps: Screw together the 2 M/F caps of the connectors.

3. Use 3.1 Charging the battery Before using for the first time, charge the battery 100%. Charge the battery at least once within 3 months after delivery. The battery will reach its full capacity after 3 or 4 charging/ discharging cycles. Check that the device is completely dry.

Once the battery is connected to the charger, the light on the charger should turn red. The blue battery LEDs allow you to monitor the progression of the charge.

Before charging the remote control, check the following: The remote control and the inside of the case must be completely dry. Please first remove the remote control lanyard. The throttle button must be at 0.

When the remote control and the ESC have been paired, the ESC light turns blue. You can then close the upper part of the board and the remote control waterproof case. To charge the remote control case, please follow the instructions provided on page 18 Pairing failure: If the ESC light remains red, this means that the remote control cannot connect to the board.
3.5 Navigate and take off with the E-FOIL To facilitate learning how to use the TAKUMA E-FOIL, we recommend watching the tutorials on the channel http:// youtube.takuma.fr We also recommend to start practising with an instructor. 3.5.1 Trigger and speed throttle The trigger switch will turn on the propulsion.

3.6.3 Security system The signal will be cut off when the remote control hits the water. The signal automatically comes back on when the remote control is outside the water.
If needed, contact your TAKUMA authorized dealer for assistance. After each use, rinse your E-FOIL: Open the top cover of the board and rinse with clear water without disconnecting the cables. Also rinse the e-mast, the propeller, please leave no detail aside.
