Pre-Installation PLANNING INSTALLATION Ensure the mounting location for your solar garden light allows the solar panel to receive direct sunlight. Do not locate the product in shaded areas as this will significantly reduce performance. Position the solar garden light such that during evening hours the ambient light from other light sources does not affect the photosensor built into the solar panel. -

Installation Installing the solar light NOTE Prior to use, set the switch to the ON position. □ Insert the handle (C) to the two holes on the jar neck (A) . □ Cover the jar (A) with the solar panel (B). -

Maintenance Replacing the battery NOTE: Use one AA size, 300mAh, 1.2V Nickel-metal hydride rechargeable battery. For best performance, replace with a Nickel- metal hydride rechargeable battery annually. IMPORTANT: Dispose of the used battery in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
