This versatile antenna works equally well as a radiator for Radio Frequency (RF) susceptibility testing or as a receiving antenna for RF emissions testing. SPECIFICATIONS Refer to the AR Data Sheet at the end of this section for detailed specifications and performance curves for the Model ATH2G8A. INSTALLATION Before installing the antenna, thoroughly inspect the unit for signs of any physical damage that may have occurred during shipment. -

General Caution Notes CAUTION: The Model ATH2G8A is capable of generating output voltages that are dangerous to human life and can cause serious MW burns to human tissue. Therefore, never stand or walk in front of the antenna when it is radiating MW energy. - Page 17 The Model ATH2G8A is a wide band, high gain, high power microwave horn antenna that provides field intensities of up to 500 V/m. With a typical gain of 14dB over isotropic, the Model ATH2G8A supplies the high intensity fields necessary for RFI/EMI field testing within and beyond the confines of a shielded room. The Model ATH2G8A is compact and light weight for ready mobility, yet is built tough enough for the extra demands of outdoor use.
