Using the External Antenna with Adapter Cable

An optional external antenna with Adapter Cable may be purchased (separately) for use with the AD3701
Modem. An external antenna is useful when traveling in fringe coverage areas where the network signal may be
weak.
1.
Locate the External Antenna Connector on the side of the device.
2.
Remove the rubber protector to expose the External Antenna Connector.
Connect the External Antenna Adapter Cable to the Modem's External Antenna Connector.

Connect the External Antenna Adapter Cable's receiving end into the external antenna of your choice
