MACHINE WASHING
The throw blanket can be machine washed at 40°C with a delicate cycle.
Use the gentle spin cycle only. DO NOT run an additional spin cycle.
HAND WASHING
Dissolve the detergent or powder for delicates in lukewarm water and immerse the throw blanket
for 15 minutes. After leaving it to soak, gently wash the throw blanket and rinse it with plenty of
lukewarm water.
Remove excess water from the throw blanket. You can gently shake the throw blanket, but do
not wring it.
DRYING
Set the dryer at a low temperature.
Dry outdoors. Do not use pegs on electric parts of the throw blanket, as this might damage them.
DO NOT use the throw blanket until it is completely dry.
HANGING THE THROW BLANKET TO DRY
Leave the throw blanket to dry and hang it out so that it roughly reaches its original size. The best
results are obtained when it is still damp, pulling a panel at a time from one end and the other. You
might need to do this several times until the throw blanket is completely dry.
Make sure the cables are not bent or twisted. It is easier to check the cables by placing the throw
blanket against the light.
If problems arise with the cables after hanging the throw blanket or if it does not return to its
original size, return it together with the control unit to our Service Centre for a safety check.
Store it as follows if you have not used it:
The best way to store the throw blanket is to leave it on the bed or sofa all year long. However, you can
fold it if you want to. Store the throw blanket in a cool dry place.
DO NOT place heavy objects on the throw blanket when you store it,
as this might damage the cables.
When you store the appliance, let it cool down before folding it.
Check the appliance and the flexible cord often for signs of wear and tear. Should this be noted or in the case of
malfunction, take the appliance to an authorised IMETEC Technical Assistance Centre. However, we recommend
having your electric blanket checked by an authorised Imetec Centre at least once every 3 years.
The product is packaged in recyclable materials. Dispose of it in compliance with the environmental
protection standards.
Pursuant to Art. 26 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 49 of 14 March 2014 "Implementation of Directive
2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)" the crossed bin symbol on the
appliance or its packaging indicates that the product must be disposed of separately from other waste
