1. Install fresh alkaline batteries into the

Handspring Visor handheld. Palm Logo should

appear on the screen in 2-3 seconds. If not, see

troubleshooting guide in Hardware User Manual.

2. Using the Stylus, follow on screen prompts to

center digitizer by tapping on the 'X's displayed on

screen, continue and then tap on the dotted box

around the displayed date and/or time. This will

launch a menus/calendars to adjust current time.

Date/Time must be correct for proper operation.

3. Insert the CardTool

auto-load a Welcome screen - Press the Date Book

button to launch ID Scanner. The DateBook key is

the bottom left round button with "1" printed on it.

"Swipe-A-Card" should display at the bottom of the

main screen.

5. Swipe a driver's license and review main screen display.
