- Page 4 Step 1: The EXPLORER terminals battery must be inserted before you connect the MP3450. Step 2: Connect the adapter C to the output cord if charging an EXPLORER 300, EXPLORER 500 or EXPLORER 700 (see Connection Overview). Connect the adapter B to the output cord if charging an EXPLORER 110.
