    3.5 TROUBLE SHOOTING - SL-550TRS-AU With proper installation and maintenance, your new Gas Heater should provide years of trouble-free service. If you do experience a problem, refer to the Trouble Shooting Guide below. This guide will assist a qualified service person in the diagnosis of problems and the corrective action to be taken. Disconnect the thermocouple from the valve, place one milli- volt meter lead wire on the tip of the thermocouple and the other meter lead wire on the thermo- couple copper lead. Start the pilot and hold the valve knob in. If the millivolt reading is less than 15 mv, replace the thermocouple.

    In order to presumptively establish the dates to which your HEAT-N-GLO Limited 10 Year Warranty runs, you must mail the completed warranty card to HEAT-N-GLO, a division of Hearth Technologies Inc., 20802 Kensington Boulevard, Lakeville, MN 55044, within 60 days of the date of fireplace installation. If you fail to do so, you may be required to prove the date of installation before warranty work can be performed.
