Routing lines

Never let drilling swarf drop into the
device connectors.
Secure the flexible pipe with a hose
clip to the ventilation air connector
on the device.

Thermal insulation

Thermally insulate parts of the air dis-
tribution system that are routed
through unheated areas.
Provide outside air and expelled air
lines with a vapour diffusion-proof
insulation layer.

Preventing flow noise and pressure drop

Install the air distribution box near
the central device.
Maintain a max. distance between
the ventilation air and extract air
lines from the device and the air dis-
tribution box of 5 m.
Install silencers on the ventilation
air and extract air side immediately
above the device (behind the adap-
tor from round to flat).
Symmetrical ductwork design.
Short runs, few bends.
Provide ventilation air and extract
air lines with an insulation layer of at
least 50 mm thickness.
