Danger
Incorrectly executed electrical
work can lead to injuries and
material losses.
Carry out the power supply
connection and all earthing
measures in accordance with
IEC 364, the requirements of
your local power supply utility,
VDE or national regulations.
The power supply must be made via a
correctly earthed standard socket with
its own fuse protection (230 V/50 Hz).

Connecting the remote control

A Top of the Vitovent 300 device
B Socket, OpenTherm BUS cable
C Plug, OpenTherm BUS cable
When installing open flue heating
equipment (type B to TRGI '86/96)
inside the living space or in rooms
connected with several other rooms,
from where combustion air is drawn,
interlock the domestic ventilation sys-
tem electrically with the heating
equipment to prevent both running
simultaneously.
Observe the regulations specified in
TRGI '86/96 , 5.1.22 as well as the
DVGW Code of Practice G 670 [or
local regulations].
