embossed on the machine are shown
and explained in this manual.
Symbols in Text
Many operating and safety instructions
are supported by illustrations.
The individual steps or procedures
described in the manual may be marked
in different ways:

refers directly to an illustration may
contain item numbers that appear in the

DANGER
Indicates an imminent risk of severe or

characteristics or the appearance of

IMPORTANT
SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electric blower, basic
precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE
USING THE STIHL BGA BLOWER,
THE BATTERY AND THE CHARGER
WARNING!
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock,
or other injury:
1.
Do not leave the blower unattended
when the plug of the connecting
cord is inserted. Disconnect the
connecting cord from the blower
when blower is not in use and
before servicing.
2.
Avoid Unintentional Starting –
Do not carry blower with finger on
the trigger switch if the plug of the
connecting cord is inserted. Be sure
trigger switch is not depressed
when inserting the plug of the
connecting cord.
3.
Do not expose the blower, battery
and charger including plug to rain,
use on wet surfaces or handle with
wet hands. Store indoors in dry
rooms. Also see additional
instructions which comes with the
charger and battery AP or AR.
4.
Use only genuine STIHL chargers.
Use charger only indoors in dry
rooms.
