Switching the Navigation Screen
(Optional)
If an optional Alpine Navigation System is connected to the IVA-
D105R, the Navigation screen can be displayed on this unit.

Press SOURCE/
.
The source screen appears on the display.

Touch [NAV.].
The Navigation screen is displayed.
The operation is possible with the supplied navigation
remote control.
For navigation operation, refer to the Owner's Manual of the
navigator.
• While the Navigation selection mode is being selected in "Setting the
VISUAL Button" (page 39), the navigation mode will be directly
activated.
• Use the "Setting the VISUAL Button" function (page 39), to select
"Nav.". The navigation mode becomes directly activated using the
VISUAL Button.
• When the Navigation System is on, the audio and visual navigation
cuts in.
Portable Navigation System Operation
(Optional)
An optional Alpine Portable Navigation System is controllable from the
unit. For details, refer to the Owner's Manual of the Portable Navigation
System.
With using the docking station type
(BLACKBIRD Series)
For details on the connectable portable Navigation, consult your Alpine
dealer.

Select EXTPLYR in "Setting the AUX Mode"
(page 38).

Mount the Portable Navigation device to the optional
docking station.
The connection to the Portable Navigation is recognized by
performing steps 1 and 2.

The SOURCE selection screen is displayed.

Touch [NAV.].
For details, refer to the Owner's Manual of the Portable
Navigation System.
Auxiliary Device
(Optional)

Operating Auxiliary Devices (Optional)

To operate your devices connected to the AUX terminals on the rear
panel of IVA-D105R, follow the procedure described below.
WARNING
It is dangerous for the driver to watch the TV/Video
while driving the vehicle. The driver may be distracted
from looking ahead and an accident could occur.
Install the IVA-D105R correctly so that the driver
cannot watch TV/Video unless the vehicle is stopped
and the emergency brake is applied.
If the IVA-D105R is not installed correctly, the driver
will be able to watch the TV/Video while driving the
vehicle and may be distracted from looking ahead and
cause an accident. The driver or other people could
be severely injured.
• If you try to activate the auxiliary device while driving, the display
will show the warning-PICTURE OFF FOR YOUR SAFETY.

While your vehicle is parked, press SOURCE/
The source screen appears on the display.

Touch [AUX]*.
The external input screen is displayed.
* The name which is given as the source name in "Setting the AUX
Mode" on page 38 is displayed.
• If the AUX mode is not displayed on the main menu, set AUX IN to
ON by following "Setting the AUX Mode" (page 38).
• The display mode changes by touching [WIDE].
For operation, refer to "Switching Display Modes" on page 28.
• When the KCA-410C is connected, the AUX input of the KCA-410C
can be used only in INTERRUPT MODE. For details, refer to the
KCA-410C Owner's Manual.
