Overview
This chapter is an overview of the iTN201, including the following sections:
1.1 Introduction
The iTN201 is the intelligent edge access device developed by Raisecom. It can be applied to
Packet-based Mobile Backhaul (P-MBH) for the carrier and next-generation multi-service
access solution based on carrier-grade Ethernet technology.
Hardware of the iTN201 includes the chassis, power supply, fan, Main Control Card (MCC),
subcards, and cables.
The iTN201 uses -48 VDC power, or 220 VAC power, or hybrid AC/DC power. For both AC
power and DC power, it supports 1+1 power backup.
The iTN201 must be installed with the fan. Otherwise, it may cause performance
degradation or service interruption when the iTN201 is running.
