Cleaning Proceedures Cleaning & Maintenance 5.1 Defrosting the freezer Your Teka refrigerator uses frost free technology, meaning that the built-in computer will manage the defrost proceedure automatically. There is no need to perform a manual defrost. 5.2 Cleaning the refrigerator compartment Remnants of food in the fridge compartment will cause odours and it is necessary to regularly clean the compartment walls, shelves and baskets. -
