Component Removal and Installation
DSI Board Cover Installation (continued)
DSI BOARD COVER INSTALLATION
Install the Board Cover
1 Place the board cover into the unit.
2 Use a T-15 Torx bit to install the board cover mounting
screws.
DSI BOARD REMOVAL
To remove the DSI board, first remove:
1 Burner grate (left-hand burner grate for 48" units)
Burner caps

Burner assemblies
3
4 Burner pans (left-hand burner pan for 48" units)
DSI board cover

Remove the DSI Board
1 Use a T-15 Torx bit to remove the screws holding the orifice
holder hat bracket to the burner box in front of the DSI
board. This releases the DSI board's ground wire and helps
with access to the DSI board's bottom two screws.
2 Disconnect the DSI board wire connectors.
3 Use a T-15 Torx bit to remove the screws from the DSI
board standoffs.
4 Remove the DSI board from the unit.
DSI BOARD INSTALLATION
Install the DSI Board
1 Place the DSI board onto the standoffs.
2 Use a T-15 Torx bit to install the screws into the DSI board
standoffs.

3 Connect the DSI board wire connectors.
4 Place the ground connection under the removed orifice
holder's hat bracket.
5 Use a T-15 Torx bit to install the screws holding the orifice
holder hat bracket to the burner box in front of the DSI
board.

SPARK MODULE REMOVAL

To remove the spark module, first remove:
Burner grate

2 Burner caps
Burner assemblies
3
Burner pan
4 above spark module to be replaced.
Remove the Spark Module
1 Disconnect the electrode wire from the spark module.
2 Disconnect the power wire connector from the L1 terminal.
3 Disconnect the white wire connector from the neutral (N)
terminal.
4 Use a T-20 Torx bit to remove the spark module mounting
screws.
5 Remove the spark module from the unit.
SPARK MODULE INSTALLATION
Install the Spark Module
1 Use a T-20 Torx bit to install the spark module mounting
screws.
2 Connect the white wire connector to the neutral (N)
terminal.
3 Connect the power wire connector to the L1 terminal.
