Component Removal and Installation
REMOVE THE BURNER BOX SUPPORT (continued)
2 Remove the burner box support from the unit.
BURNER BOX SUPPORT INSTALLATION
Install the Burner Box Support
1 Place the burner box support into the unit so that it fits into
the pan supports and sides of the burner box.

2 Use a / " socket to install the burner box support mounting

screws.

MANIFOLD REMOVAL

TIP: It is unnecessary to remove gas lines or switch wiring from
the burner valves to replace the manifold.
To remove the manifold, first remove:
Burner grate(s)
1 (one for 36" units, two for 48" units)
All burner caps

3 All burner assemblies
4 Burner pan(s) (one for 36" units, two for 48" units)
All knobs

All bezels

Remove the Manifold

1 Use a / " combination wrench to remove the manifold

screw from each valve.
2 Use a combination wrench to remove the manifold inlet line
from the manifold.
3 Remove any tie wraps that are holding the wire harness to
the manifold.

4 Remove the manifold from the unit.

MANIFOLD INSTALLATION

Install the Manifold
CAUTION
When assembling the manifold components, use
only pipe thread compound. Do not use Teflon tape
to seal gas connections.
TIP: The new manifold includes the brass fitting.
1 Use a combination wrench to attach the gas inlet line to the
manifold.

2 Use a / " combination wrench to install the manifold screw

on each valve.
ORIFICE HOLDER REMOVAL
To remove the orifice holder, first remove:
1 Burner grate
2 Burner caps
Burner assemblies
3
Burner pan

Remove the Orifice Holder

1 Use a / " combination wrench to remove the simmer gas

line.

2 Use a / " combination wrench to remove the main gas line.
