A.2 Electrical Specification
Two IEC 61076-4-101 compatible connectors that mate with rack mounted backplane
connectors form the electrical connection to the IMP2B.

The IMP2B does not use the ±12 V supply lines, but they are fed to the PMC site.
A.2.2 Power Consumption
The IMP2B uses both +3.3 V and +5 V supply rails.
Power dissipations are shown for an IMP2B with a 7448 and 1 GByte of RAM (no
PMC fitted) operating at the stated frequencies. Typical figures are taken with the
card sitting at a VxWorks BSP prompt at +25 °C, and maximum figures running a
Fast Fourier Transform test at +85 °C to push the processor toward its maximum
power output.

This assumes that no power is being drawn from either of the USB 2.0, 5 V outputs.
Inrush current on the +3.3 V and +5.0 V rails never exceeds the steady state, fully on
figures.
