PRODUCT OPERATION

Product power supply
The product can be powered by a power supply, AA rechargeable batteries or batteries.
If the power supply is used, put the power supply plug into the socket locates in the device housing (II), and then connect the
power supply housing to the mains.
If the included Li-Ion rechargeable battery is used for power supply, place the rechargeable battery in the battery compartment so
that the rechargeable battery charging socket points downwards (III). Then close the battery compartment with the cover.
If AA batteries or rechargeable batteries are used for power supply, place them in the battery compartment so that the "+" contact
of each battery or rechargeable battery points upwards (IV). Then close the battery compartment with the cover.
Warning! Check the battery compartment before connecting the power supply to the device. The power supply can only be con-
nected if the battery compartment is empty or contains the Li-Ion rechargeable battery supplied with the product. If there are Ni-
MH batteries or rechargeable batteries in the battery compartment, they must be removed before the power supply is connected.
Connecting the power supply when there are Ni-MH batteries or rechargeable batteries in the battery compartment may result in
damage to the device, electrolyte leakage, fi re or electric shock.
Laser setting
The laser can be set on its own adjustable support feet or tripod.
If you use the support feet, place the laser on a fl at surface and then rotate the feet to level it. At the top of the housing there is a
round level vial, whose air bubble should be inside the level vial circle. Otherwise it may not be possible for the laser to self-level
after start-up.
Caution! Be careful not to remove the feet from the laser housing completely while unscrewing them.
If the laser is to be mounted on a tripod, use the threaded opening in the base of the laser housing. Once the laser has been
attached to the tripod, the laser should be initially levelled using the tripod. If the laser cannot be levelled using the tripod, use an
additional head which will provide such a possibility.
Product start-up
Turning the switch (V) unlocks the self-levelling mechanism of the laser pointer module and runs the laser. The start-up of the laser
is indicated by an acoustic signal and the short-term activation of all the laser pointers. The illumination of the level vial indicates
that the laser has been activated.
The laser is switched off when the switch is turned. The level vial illumination is switched off when the laser is turned off .
If the laser setting makes it impossible to self-level the laser, it will be indicated by a repeated sound signal, a blinking of the level
vial illumination and a blinking of the projected laser line. The signalling will switch off automatically if the device is set correctly.
Laser operation
Pressing the button marked "H" activates the laser pointer which emits a horizontal line on the walls surrounding the device. At
the same time, a laser dot pointer lights up in the centre of the tripod mount to indicate the rotation axis of the laser. Pressing this
button again switches off the projection of the horizontal line and the dot pointer.
Pressing the button marked "V" activates the laser pointers which generate a vertical line on the walls surrounding the device, and
a line on the ceiling. Pressing this button again activates the second vertical line displayed on the walls surrounding the device,
and the line on the ceiling. If the ceiling is parallel to the ground, the lines on the ceiling cross at right angles. Pressing the button
marked "V" again will deactivate the projection of both lines.
Rotation knobs placed in the base allow precise rotation of the device on the base. The angle of rotation can be checked on the
scale at the bottom of the device.
Each line has a higher intensity light point, which makes it easier to locate the line in bright outdoor light.
The button marked "OUT" is used to activate the receiver's function or to disable self-levelling.
Pressing this button once enables work with the receiver (not included with the product). The receiver allows to receive a laser
signal even if it is no longer visible to the naked eye.
Press and hold the "OUT" button for approx. 3 seconds to turn off the self-levelling mechanism, which allows you to use the laser
line to mark e.g. slopes. The mode is indicated by a fl ashing of the level vial illumination.
Laser pointer self-levelling
Caution! The laser pointer self-levelling function can only be used if the tripod thread points downwards. Any other position of the
product will be signalled as exceeding the self-adjustment range.
Switching the product on also activates the laser pointer self-levelling mechanism. If the product is tilted at an angle within the
self-adjustment range, the projected points will be automatically levelled.
