PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

The cross laser projects reference laser lines. They provide reference for alignment during various work, including building refur-
bishment and construction. The battery power supply system facilitates operation in the fi eld. Before using this instrument, read
and understand this Operating Manual and follow its instructions.
CAUTION! This product is not a measuring instrument (meter) as construed under the Act of Measures.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Laser light is hazardous to the eyes. Do not stare directly into the laser beam. Do not direct the laser beam at people or animals.
Keep the product out of the reach of children. Never let children operate the product.
Do not operate the product in an explosive atmosphere or near a source of fi re.
Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid. The relative humidity at the operating location of the product must not
exceed 85% without condensation.
Do not expose the product to high temperatures. Example: never leave the product in a vehicle with doors and windows closed.
It is recommended to use high-class alkaline batteries to power the product. Rechargeable Ni-MH batteries of the size specifi ed
in the Technical Data table above can also be used. If rechargeable Ni-MH batteries are used, the operating parameters of the
product can be derated (reduced) due to a lower rated supply voltage. Replace all batteries at the same time. Do not use spent
disposable batteries with new disposable batteries, or drained rechargeable batteries with fully-charged rechargeable batteries.
Never use disposable batteries with rechargeable batteries.
If the product will be stored (not used) for over 1 month, the batteries must be removed from the product to prevent an electrolyte
spill, which could otherwise cause irreparable damage to the product. If there is an electrolyte spill, avoid contact of the skin with the
electrolyte. Wipe off the electrolyte from the product with a dry and soft cloth. Do not dispose of the battery or the product together
with regular (household) waste; follow your local regulations for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) disposal.
Protect the product from shocks and/or impact. Do not store the product together with other tools. Transport the product off with
the laser pointer dome locked.
USING THE PRODUCT
Installing the batteries
Press down the battery compartment cover tab and remove the cover. Install the batteries. Mind the proper battery polarity. Close
the battery compartment with the cover.
Turning on the product
The product features a power switch which is also a work mode selector.
Sliding the power switch to the 'closed padlock' symbol (II) turns the product off and locks out the movement of the laser pointer.
Sliding the power switch to the 'closed padlock & lightning' symbol (III) projects a laser crosshair, which is two laser lines intersect-
ing one another at 90 degrees on the projection surface.
Sliding the power switch to the 'open padlock & lightning' symbol (III) projects a laser crosshair, which is two laser lines intersecting
one another at 90 degrees on the projection surface, and starts the laser pointer self-levelling feature.
