Changing the audio mode

Audio m ode:
• Stereo – U se t his s etting f or i nternal s peakers, h eadphones, a nd e xternal s tereo a mplifiers
connected t hrough H DMI
• Auto – U se t his s etting t o a utomatically d etect t he b est a udio s etting b ased o n t he a udio s tream
in t he c ontent y ou a re w atching. I f y ou h ave c onnected t he T V t o a n e xternal D olby D igital o r
Dolby D igital P lus c ompatible a mplifier, r eceiver, o r s ound b ar t hrough H DMI
optical, t he T V a utomatically s elects t he a ppropriate s urround s ound c apabilities o f t he d evice
based o n t he c haracteristics o f t he c urrent p rogram.
Setting up a digital audio connection
You c an c onnect t he T V t o a n e xternal a mplifier, r eceiver, o r s ound b ar b y u sing e ither o f t hese t wo
connections:
• HDMI A RC – T he H DMI
on o ne o f i ts H DMI
simultaneously a s a n i nput s ource t o t he T V, i f n eeded. T o u se t he A RC c apability, y ou
must c onnect a n H DMI
ARC c onnector o n t he T V. Y ou a lso m ust:
