TROUBLESHOOTING

WARNING
• Turn the switch to the "OFF" position and remove the battery before performing
troubleshooting procedures.
PROBLEM
Tool does not work.
The mower cuts
unevenly
The mower does
not mulch properly
Mower is difficult
to pull back when
the self-propel is
turned off
Red light flash
Red light illuminate
Both light are off
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Low battery capacity.
2. The side rails are
not extended to their
maximum length and the
clamps are not locked in
position.
3. Battery overheating
(The power indicator on
the mower will flash red
light).
1. Dull blade.
2. The blade is assembled
incorrectly.
1. Wet grass clippings are
sticking to the underside
of the deck.
2. The mower is set to cut
too much grass at once.
The wheels are temporarily
locked.
Battery overheating, tool
has stopped working in
order to protect internal
circuits.
Low battery capacity.
Motor overheating or
Battery/tool over load, tool
has stopped working in
order to protect internal
circuits.
Battery is depleted.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. Charge the battery pack.
2. Fully extend the handle and lock both
clamps.
3. Wait to cool down, at which point it
can be started again.
1. Sharpen or replace the blade.
2. Reassemble the blade, following the
section "Installing the Blade" in this
manual.
1. Wait until the grass dries before
mowing.
2. Raise the deck to a higher cutting-
height setting.
Simply push ahead slightly and then
move the mower as desired.
Wait to cool down, at which point it can
be started again.
Charge the battery pack.
Wait to cool down, remove the battery
and reinstall, at which point it can be
started again.
Charge the battery pack.
