STEP 5. FITTING THE cANVAS To THE FRoNT AND REAR END WALLS

place the canvas with the zipped door on the desired end wall. the zip should be closed for fitting.
the canvas for the rear end wall has no door. the exterior side of the canvas is coloured and the
interior is white. the canvases are both fitted in the same way.
a) locate the strap along the edge of the canvas for the front end wall. the strap is visible at the
height of the stay and corner foot pieces. the ends of the strap stick out by the corner foot pieces.
position the white side of the canvas against the frame and securely tie the strap ends to each
corner support.
b) use a rubber mallet to tap loose the stay (4) from the connector piece (9) or (10) between the
support and roof frame.
c) place the strap between the stay (4) and connector piece. insert the stay (4) into the connector
piece again.
d) repeat for the other side.
e) Stand on a stool or similar; use a rubber mallet to knock loose the stay (4) from the connector
piece (12). place the strap between the stay (4) and connector piece and insert the stay into the
connector piece again.
f) loosen one of the straps from one corner foot piece and thread it into the tensioner (24). ratchet
the tensioner lever forwards and backwards a few times to catch hold of the strap. hook in the
tensioner's S-hook in the corner foot piece and ratchet the tensioner lever forwards and backwards to
tighten the strap.
g) repeat for the strap on the other side.
