This chapter provides basic information about the QNAP device. About the TS-832PX The TS-832PX is powered by a quad-core 1.7 GHz processor that provides small businesses with cost- effective storage for a wide range of applications. The NAS includes dual 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports to support high-speed networking, empower bandwidth-demanding applications, and facilitate file sharing.

Drive Installation The TS-832PX is compatible with 3.5-inch hard drives, 2.5-inch hard drives, and 2.5-inch solid-state drives. Lock the tray. 5. Power on the NAS. Installing Expansion Cards The device supports selected expansion cards, some of which require QNAP PCIe brackets. QNAP-branded expansion cards purchased from the company website are shipped with the brackets necessary to fit the device.

Verify that the module has tilted upward and is completely released from the slot. Warning Attempting to remove a module that is not completely released may damage the module and the motherboard.
