1) Screw solenod bracket pn 1 suppled as accesso-
res n the tap located on the left sde of the solenod
nstallng secton.
2) Adjust solenod bracket pn 1 to solenod bracket
pn hole 3 of presser lftng solenod asm. 2 , and
set the presser lftng solenod asm. When settng t,
nsert the presser lftng solenod asm. nto the pn n
the state that t s twsted on the rght-hand sde.
3) When t s nserted nto the pn, turn the presser lft-
ing solenoid asm. in the reverse direction, and fix it
wth screw 4 and washer 5 . Then nstall t on the
machne head wth screw 6 , washer 7 and sprng
washer 8 .
4) Referrng to the Instructon Manual for MF-7200D
(^-16. Adjusting the presser foot lift), adjust the
heght of screw !0 , and tghten nut !1 .
5) Lower presser lftng lever 9 untl t comes n contact
wth screw !0 . Lower top end secton !2 of presser
lftng solenod asm. 2 to the lowest poston, and
adjust wth screws !3 (4 places) so that the clear-
ance between top end secton !2 and presser lftng
lever 9 s 0 to 0.5 mm.
Sound of solenoid may increase during
using presser lifter. When it increases,
loosen 4 setscrews !3 , lower solenoid to the
place where the sound is lessened, and fix 4
setscrews !3 . When adjusting, confirm that
presser lifting lever 9 comes in contact with
presser height adjustment screw !0 .
