PiZZA
POCKETS
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
¾ cup milk
½ tsp salt
Directions:
1.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the butter and use a pastry
cutter to combine the butter with the flour until it forms a coarse crumb.
2.
Stir in the milk until the dough comes together. Roll your dough out on a
floured surface so that it is ½-inch thick. Cut out as many 4-inch wide circles as
you can. Alternatively, you can use store-bought biscuit dough or pizza dough.
3.
Stretch the dough circles so they resemble the shape of the Cooking Surfaces
in the Express Pocket & Omelette Maker. Plug in your
Express Pocket & Omelette Maker.
4.
Top one dough circle with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. Top with another
dough circle and pinch the edges closed. Cook the pizza pocket on a Cooking
Surface until golden and crispy, and repeat with remaining dough circles and
preferred fillings. Serve with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
