Note: Make sure that no dirt or object can come into
the bearings.
7.19.2 To replace the seal rings
Note: Hold the outer part of the bearing when you
replace the seal ring. Make sure that the bearing does
not move.
1. To replace the seal ring on the flywheel side.
a) Remove the starter unit. Refer to
disassemble the starter unit on page 25 .
b) Remove the flywheel. Refer to
flywheel on page 30 .
2. To replace the seal ring on the clutch side.
a) Remove the centrifugal clutch. Refer to
disassemble the centrifugal clutch on page 32 .
b) Remove the oil pump. Refer to
and assemble the lubrication system on page
34 .

3. Use a screwdriver to remove the seal ring.
4. Attach the guide ring (A) on the crankshaft axle.
5. Lubricate the new seal ring (B) with two-stroke oil.
6. Put the seal ring on the guide ring.
