SWELLPRO FISHERMAN FD1 DRONE

FD1 (Swellpro Fishing Drone) CHECKLIST BEFORE FLIGHT

þ Remember to always turn the controller on FIRST & then the drone SECOND (when powering
on) & likewise turn the drone off FIRST (when powering down)
þ Both the Drone & Remote Controller Batteries should be fully charged, before flight
þ Check that the Drone & Remote Controller is in FULL WORKING CONDITION
& are FREE of Corrosion & Damage, including Checking the MOTORS are spinning freely, the
Fishing Release Mechanism is working 100% correctly & the Water resistant Membrane on
the LID is not damaged.
þ Make sure the LID is securely Fastened down with the Thumb Screws & the LID is Facing
Forward.
þ
Check That you are set on GPS Mode "G" on the Remote Controller.
þ Check That you are in an Open Area & AWAY from any possible Electrical OR Magnetic
Interference including Metal (ie. cars)
þ Make sure that you always do the compass calibration before your First Flight of the Day.
þ
Make sure you have a Satellite Signal Strength of "10" before taking off
þ Make sure your PROPELLERS are ALL Installed correctly before flying.

Compass Calibration - IMPORTANT

When does the compass need to be calibrated?
1.
ALWAYS When you use the drone for the first time on a given day.
2.
After maintenance.
3.
The distance from the last calibration area is more than 100 m.
4.
The aircraft is subject to strong magnetic interference.
5.
The aircraft has been impacted or vibrated violently.
