10. Remove the two hex screws from the I/O port bracket, then remove the I/O port bracket from the main
board.
11. Detach the audio cover from the main board.

Disconnect the PCMCIA slot cable from the main board at CN22.

Loosen the three screws from the main board.
10. Detach the PCMCIA slot with a flat screw driver to loosen the latch.
11. Then remove the PCMCIA slot from the main board at CN20.
