- Page 4 Operation Required Tools ⁄ " wrench NOTE: Before operating Transport Dolly: headboards/ footboards, siderails and assist rails must be removed. Also, the bed should be raised to its full height. Attaching Transport Dolly 1. Push the carrier arm brackets into the headboard/ footboard mounting tubes.
- Page 5 5. Rotate bed ¼ or a turn and align holes between the handle bar and carrier arm. Handle Bar Hex Bolt Jam Nut 6. Insert spacer between the handle bar and carrier arm. 7 . Insert hex bolt through handle bar, spacer and carrier arm.
- Page 6 Operation (cont.) 6. Using the handset, “raise” bed completely to lower bed casters to the floor and raise the dolly wheels off the floor. 7. Press in the snap buttons (locked in the headboard/footboard mounting tubes) and pull out the carrier arm. NOTE: It is important to pull the arm out from both sides to ensure even removal of brackets.
