Operation Operation • WARNING: Always follow safe lifting practices when weighing an individual. 1. Press the On/Off key to turn the scale display on. After power-up, the current weight will be displayed. 2. Press the Tare/Zero key to zero the value on the display, if needed. This function can be used to tare the weight of the spreader bar and sling prior to weighing the patient/resident. -
