TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

BE sURE TO FOllOW sAFETY RUlEs AnD insTRUCTiOns
POssiBlE CAUsE
The extension cord and/or plug is defective.
Internal componets too hot.
Brushes worn out.
The extension cord is too long and/or its gauge
is inadequate.
The speed dial is set to a lower setting.
The voltage provided by the electric supply
is inadequate.
The chuck is not pulled back fully.
sOlUTiOn
Have the extension cord and/or plug checked by a qualified
electrician and replaced if necessary.
Allow tool to cool down.
Have brushes replaced by an authorized D
Use an extension cord of an approved length and/or of
adequate gauge.
Rotate the speed dial to a higher setting suitable for the application.
Connect the hammer to an adequate electric supply.
Pull the chuck back as far as it will go and remove the chisel. Refer
to Inserting and Removing SDS MAX Chisels.
