    PART 4 Prepare water heater location Carefully consider installation when determining water heater location. Please read the entire manual before attempting installation.     PART 6 Install the condensate drain 1. Due to its efficient design, the water heater produces condensation (water) as a normal by-product. This condensation is acidic, with a pH level between 3 and 4. This condensation must be drained away from the water heater and disposed in accordance with all local regulations.
